Good morning and happy new year to you all, please see below this week’s Newsletter! Look out for details of Elvington’s PTA Comedy event, taking place in March, tickets are selling fast!

Please note the menu change on Thursday 16th, due to census day, see information of events happening locally and photographs of the children enjoying their first week back at school.

PTA News – Comedy Evening

Mr Owen has organised an afternoon/evening of comedy on the 29th March 2025. An afternoon show for families and an evening show which is 18+ only.

Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Steve Royle, has agreed to to do both shows ( the evening show alongside three other comedians ) . All proceeds (from tickets, bar and raffle) will go to the school. As much as £4000 could be raised with your help.

Spring 1 Clubs

Please see the letter below for contact details and dates, which has also been emailed to families. Please complete and return to the usual office address, should your child wish to attend any of the bookable clubs, or book direct for Rugby, Dance and Art. Please book Revision Club through the link.

Elvington Out of School Club – Holidays

Please note – All holiday childcare must be booked in advance – thank you.

  • Friday December 20th – Last day for Out of School Club

  • Monday 6th January – Open 8am – 6pm

Bookings cannot be made via school.

Christmas Lunch Menu

Our festive Christmas Lunch will take place on Tuesday 17th December. Please book on ParentPay (who have now rectified the booking issue – apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused) by Wednesday 11th December, should you wish your child to have a lunch on this day. This will allow our catering team to order sufficient ingredients.
