This year we will once again be asking for donations which will go to the York Foodbank, run by the Trussell Trust. Any donations of non-perishable foods and the other items listed below would be gratefully received. By donating to the foodbank you will help families in our own community who are in need. Please bring the aforementioned into school on Thursday 9th October.
If possible please choose an item from this list to bring to school on the morning of our Harvest Celebration:
- Packets of Biscuits
- Tinned Fruit
- Sponge Puddings (tinned or plastic pots)
- Tinned Meat (stews, curries, chillies, mince, ham etc.)

Elvington’s PTA Team are registered with easyfundraising, which means you can raise FREE donations for the PTA every time you shop online. Over 4,000 shops and sites from Amazon to holidays and car insurance, will donate to the PTA when you use easyfundraising, at no extra cost to yourself!
The aforementioned donations make a significant difference as the PTA missed out on numerous events due to Covid-19. It’s completely FREE and only takes a moment. You can find the PTA easyfundraising page at:

The first PTA meeting of the new academic year will take place in school on Monday 6th October, at 3:15pm. It would be wonderful to see both existing and new members.
