Starting from week beginning Monday 25th January 2021, all primary school staff will have access to twice weekly, COVID-19 self-administered lateral flow tests. Staff will self-administer these tests at home and report the results after 30 minutes. This clearly presents a potential logistical challenge for parents/carers and schools, as a positive test result would lead to a bubble or bubbles closing until a second PCR test (the type of test taken at a testing centre) is undertaken.

If a member of staff does test positive, we may need to make a bubble closure, this information will shared with you via email. However, please be aware that this could be at very short notice. We are, of course, hopeful that we will not have to take this action.
