Christmas Toy Appeal

We are really pleased to be supporting Elvington Air Museum’s Christmas Toy appeal.  On Friday 29th November a small number of children will be attending the light switch, to mark the start of the appeal. A big thank you to Mrs Handley for offering to take the children.

Over the coming weeks the school council will be working really hard to promote and organise the collection of new toys. Please support our wonderful school council and their enthusiasm to help others. Help us bring a smile to those children in hospital this Christmas and donate a toy. Children can donate a gift by bringing it into school and passing it on to the class council representative.

These toys will then be collected on the 18th December.

The hospital have said:

Plastic dolls such as Barbie and Action Man, Colouring books and pens, Wipeable hard books, Jigsaws, Wipeable toys such as play telephones, screens and shape boxes.

Please note, sadly we cannot accept anything wooden. We ask that toys are new as they will be used as gifts for the children to take home

Many thanks for your continued support,

Miss Rushmer and the School Council
